My CD/DVD will not play after I insert it into my disc drive. What should I do?

The CD or DVD you are trying to play to has an auto-run feature that will run a small application (instead of letting Windows launch the CD/DVD-player application) when the disk is first inserted into the disc drive.

This application can be closed (click "exit", or press [alt]+[F4] simultaneously), then open your favorite media-player application and click the play button.
